Here are two recent applications of stochastic thermodynamics: the first one concerns
fluctuation theorems for equilibrium systems with broken symmetries [PDF], while the second
one has to do with non-markovian effects in an harmonic chain
We are proposing two internships or thesis in Non-equilibrium Statistical Physics
to be started in the beginning of 2015:
The first one concerns a stochastic and thermodynamic approach of metabolism,
as described here in french or there in english.
The second one concerns symmetry properties of non-gaussian fluctuations as described
here in french or there in english.
