Here are some recent applications of stochastic thermodynamics:
the first one concerns equilibrium systems with broken symmetries
[PDF], the second one
is about non-markovian effects in an harmonic chain
the last one is about kinetics and thermodynamics of reversible polymerization [PDF].
We are proposing two internships or thesis in Non-equilibrium Statistical Physics
to be started in the beginning of 2015:
The first one concerns a stochastic and thermodynamic approach of metabolism,
as described here in french or there in english.
The second one concerns symmetry properties of non-gaussian fluctuations as described
here in french or there in english.
Don't hesitate to get in touch with me to know more about these two propositions.
